About GlucoClarity

GlucoClarity is an independent, educational website built around three free interactive tools — an A1C-to-average-glucose converter, a blood glucose unit converter, and a diabetes risk screening quiz — alongside plain-language articles about living with or reducing risk for diabetes.

Why we built this

Diabetes numbers are confusing: A1C percentages, mg/dL, mmol/L, target ranges that shift by time of day. We built GlucoClarity so anyone can translate a lab result or a glucose reading into something they can actually understand before their next doctor's visit — never as a replacement for that visit.

How we source information

Every statistic and formula on this site traces to a named public source — the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the CDC, the NIDDK, or Mayo Clinic. Formulas used in our tools (such as the A1C-to-eAG conversion) are published, peer-reviewed statistical relationships, not original medical claims. We link to the underlying source on every tool and article where a specific figure is cited.

What this site is not

GlucoClarity does not diagnose, does not calculate medication or insulin doses, and does not replace your care team. Every tool result is labeled as a general estimate. Read our full Medical Disclaimer for details.
